Integrated CRM and SEP training for pilots and cabin crew

ITS develops 'integrated' CRM and SEP training programmes for pilots and cabin crew for delivery as both individual and joint training courses. Although a number of airlines deliver CRM training that has been embedded into their SEP programmes, the ITS courses differ in that they are individually designed for each client to link training objectives and classroom tasks to the use of team skills such as decision-making and communication.

Right from the outset to the design process ITS ensure that the required SEP training modules are identified and that the CRM requirements laid down by the appropriate regulator are established. Once these elements are agreed the classroom activities can then be developed to provide a ground based, flight orientated training programme. In addition to the classroom scenarios there will, where practicable, be a visit to an aircraft to meet any requirement for on-board drills.

Probably the most important element of the training session will be the debrief. The crew will review their own performance and the facilitator will then debrief the crew based on a range of 'behavioural markers' that will have been embedded into the course.

ITS integrated CRM/SEP training courses are designed to deliver improved CRM and SEP training, to improve performance and of course to reduce the time allocated to recurrent training for flight deck and cabin crew.
