ITSNOTECHS - Behavioural Markers

JAA and many other Regulators now require that operators introduce a system for assessing non-technical skills (CRM) on the line and in the simulator; your instructors or line trainers will therefore be required to assess non-technical skills during line or simulator checks.

These systems are Behavioural Marker Schemes, but are commonly referred to as NOTECHS and they can be used to deliver the following:

  • Assessment of non-technical skills to meet the Regulatory/Licensing requirement.

  • Individual feedback to flight crew and trainees on their non-technical skills development.

  • Provide feedback for integration into the training programme.

ITS has experience in designing and implementing NOTECHS schemes for our clients and we can support you in all aspects of this process.

In addition, your line trainers and instructors will require specific training in how to assess non-technical skills and in the implementation of the associated grading process. ITS runs Assessment Skills Training courses to meet this requirement.
